Métamorphoses Fribourg urban performance 2013

The urban performance „Métamorphoses“ refers to the interconnections and shifts between icons and meanings of signs and undermines in a playful way the determining tendency of writing. The performance was part of the “Métamorphoses” Project developed for the snf AGORA research project „Vertical Ecumenism: From scripts to (Holy) Scripture“, a collaboration between the Department of Biblical Studies, the BIBLE + ORIENT Museum, University Fribourg (Switzerland). It took place in the streets of Fribourg the 22th August 2013 at the opening day of the exhibition “Die fliegende Torarolle” in the Museum Gutenberg in Fribourg, Switzerland.

The „Métamorphoses“ Animation-Video was part of the project “Métamorphoses” and developed for the snf AGORA research project „Vertical Ecumenism: From scripts to (Holy) Scripture“,
a partnership between the Department of Biblical Studies and the BIBLE + ORIENT Museum, University Fribourg (Switzerland). It was produced 2012-13 by several classes from the College St. Michel Fribourg with the artist Françoise Emmenegger (Charlatan) and presented at the Museum BIBLE + ORIENT, Gutenberg, in the municipal and university Libraries of Fribourg.
